Chad L. Edgar, Esq., is a currently practicing attorney who also has a Ph.D. in English Literature from New York University. Before he became an attorney, he taught expository writing and English Literature classes at New York University, University of Wisconsin, and Edgewood College. His dissertation on Lord Byron and Felicia Hemans was well received; in fact, one of its chapters was the source of a published essay that is frequently cited by scholars to this day. (For those curious, the title of the essay is "Felicia Hemans and the Shifting Field of Romanticism" in Felicia Hemans: Reimagining Poetry in the Nineteenth Century, ed. N. Sweet and J. Melnyk, Palgrave MacMillan 2001.
With his teaching experience and his daily exercise of his writing muscles, Chad is ready, willing and able to guide writers of all ages and competence levels to better writing while having fun in the process.
